Makayla is growing up so fast! ! !

Makayla isn't very interested in me feeding her anymore so I thought that today I would let her give it a try on her own. She was very excited, I'm just not sure she got anything into her mouth.

Yes, those are peas all over the floor. She had a lot more fun making a huge mess for me than actually eating anything. She thows everything now and says uh oh. Like that makes everything ok. Thanks Kausten!

I painted Makayla's toes for the first time today. They are so cute! ! ! I can't believe how fast she is growing up. Next thing I know she is going to be wanting new shoes and borowing my car! YIKES! Time is definatly flying here.

Makayla is walking! ! ! She has been walking quite a bit the last few days. She still crawls most of the time but she is figuring out that walking isn't that scary. I think the furthest she has gone is 10 steps. She's getting there. It won't be long now.

Bunny to the rescue!

Aiden's 1st snowman

Aiden was so excited to have snow again. Mike and him made a snowman. The last time we had snow he was sad because it was to powdery to make a snowman with.
Aiden finally got his snowman! He thought it was pretty cool to put a John Deere hat on it.

The smoke was Mike's personal touch to the snowman. He is setting a great example for his son.

Visiting Jeremy and Kenzie

We had so much fun at Jeremy and Kenzies. It was nice to get away for a little while. We weren't there long but it was great to be able to visit with them. The kids had a great time. Aiden was so sad when we went home. He wanted to stay at Jeremy and Kenzie's house forever. Makayla on the other hand was happy to be home and in her own bed again. Can you tell Kausten just woke up? What a cutie!

Aiden had so much fun with all of Kausten's toys. They were so cool to him. He could have stayed forever.

Nice hairdo Kayla! Her hair is getting so long already! She always is in need of a pony or a clip.

Rub a dub dub 3 kids in the tub! A tight fit but they sure had fun playing together.

We went to a hockey game. It was a lot of fun. Aiden loved it. He wants to play so bad. I think that he'll change his mind when he gets hit with the puck for the first time. Makayla did god until the end then she was mad because I wouldn't let her crawl on the nasty floor.

Seattle against Vancouver. Seattle won. It was a fun game to see. Always great to see the home team win.

Visiting the Zoo

We went to the Zoo while we were visiting Jeremy and Kenzie over the weekend. We had a lot of fun. The kids loved seeing all the animal. We had nice weather to spend the day outside. The kids needed it after all the car time they had.
Aiden really enjoyed running around showing everyone EVERYTHING that he saw. He loves animals, except he is around Mike to much and he asked if he could kill them. We got a few funny looks from people and we had to remind him that the zoo is not a place to kill animals.

Kayla had a great time riding in the stroller checking everything out. She is an animal lover too. She gets so excited when she sees them. Her eyes light up and she starts cooing. It is so cute!

Kausten loved the zoo too. He was really into running away from Kenzie though. It was funny for me because I wasn't the one running after him all day! He gives you a naughty smile and runs. It is pretty funny. Jeremy and Kenzie definatly have there hands full with him.

Mike is such a goof. But that is why I love him. Jeremy doesn't look to impressed though. He is so sweet with the kids. Makayla loves to cuddle him.

It was a tight fit for the kids in the car, but they seemed to enjoy each other.

Makayla's 1st Birthday!

Makayla got so many fun presents at my party! She loved tearing all the paper up.

Makayla got her first babies at her party. Aiden likes them better than her right now, but she'll claim them soon I'm sure.

Makayla had a lot of fun playing with her friends at the party too. This is her and Hailey. She loves having kids her age to play with.

Makayla loves "taking care of" Weston and Coleson. She thinks that they are so sweet! She is going to be a great cousin to them. They are going to have a lot of fun growing up together.

Makayla got to have her first taste of cake. That was sure fun! ! !

At first she didn't really know what to do, the boys taught her real quick. Then there was no stopping her!

Her hair was covered in frosting, we had no choise but to put her in the bath to get it all out. She thought that is was fun though.

Makayla's first birthday cake. She got her own cake to destroy. She didn't eat much of the cake, but there wasn't much frosting left when she was done.

Makayla's 1st time playing outside

Makayla discovered that playing outside is so much fun. She was so sad when I made her go in the house. It is still a bit cold outside for her to be out to long.

Aiden thought that it would be cool to teach her to crawl in the damp grass. What a sweet brother. They were both all wet when I brought them in.

Makayla loves bubbles too! ! ! Aiden had so much fun blowing them for her to pop. He is so good to her. Always trying to do things to make her happy.
