Aiden's 4th Birthday

Aiden loved being a cowboy for his birthday. He had such a great time with his friends.

Mike got Aiden a BB Gun for his birthday. He was so proud to get his own gun, now he can hunt birds just like Dad. Don't worry, Mike taught him all about gun saftey before he got to use it. He is very good about carrying it around pointing down. I even got to witness him shoot a pop can on his own, granted he shot the fence a few times first.

So Sleepy

So I just posted pics of Makayla sleeping on the chair. Well last night I was doing laundry and I came out and Aiden was sleeping on the chair. It wasn't even 7:00! ! ! So I just brought him to bed and he slept all night.

He looks so sweet, when he's sleeping that is! !

I Just Can't Keep My Eyes Open. . .

Makayla gets up so early now with this time change that she is so tired right away, but of course doesn't want a nap. So I've been catching her taking cat-naps anywhere she can. This was a few days ago. I had kids over that day and they were really loud and she didn't even notice, she just kept on sleeping. It was so cute.

Halloween

So, Aiden picked out his own costume this year. We brought him to the store and let him choose. Well he went straight to the masks and picked out 'Jason' from Friday the 13th. Horrible, I know. But he loved it and had a great time.

Aiden taught Makayla to make a funny face whenever the camera comes out. So this is what we get now. Our sweet Little Red Riding Hood pulling funny faces.

Pumpkin Painting Fun

We did a little pumpkin painting and the kids had so much fun!

Makayla LOVED it. She didn't even get to dirty. Not that I cared, Mike was on clean-up duty!

Visiting Grandma

This is one of the last times we got to visit with my Grandma. She was barely able to talk to us but she knew we were there and it was great to be able to see her a few more times. Makayla knows how to butter people up. Here she is with my Grandpa. She would go up to him every time we were there and say 'please' and give him her puppy eyes asking for a treat, and he would never say no to her, no matter how many she already had. He is a famous Grandpa for always handing out gummy bears to all the grandkids when they would come over.

My Aunt was staying at my Grandparents house with her little boy who is about Aiden's age and she brought his Gator with. It was a great idea. I don't think that Gator was ever parked. She had 2 batteries and one was always on the charger.

All the boys having a ride. Jacob, my brother, is driving. JW, my cousin, is in the pasenger seat and sitting next to Aiden is Alex, my cousin's son. It is really fun for Aiden when we get together with the family because it is so big and there is always someone for him to play with. All 4 of these boys are really close in age and all got along so well.

And Makayla is not going to be left out of the action. Once she got in the boys had to take turns driving her around because she was NOT getting out for anything.
