A Day at the Park

We spent Friday at Hovander Park. We had such a great time. There was so much to do and see. The kids had so much fun. We met my friend Angie and her daughter Hailey there. The kids had so much fun playing together.

Aiden Riding without Training Wheels!

I can't believe that he can ride without training wheels already. He's been really wanting to so we borrowed a small bike for him to try it on. He took off right away. He still needs help getting started but he is doing great! He is so proud of himself.

His idea of stopping. A crash landing. He's getting better about stopping with his feet now. It's only been 3 days and he is doing great.

Family

Do kids ever look nice for pictures when you want them to? Every time we try to get a family pic this is how it turns out. Crazy kids.

We were at our friends wedding and little Maddie was the flower girl. She was so adorable! ! I don't think that she could get any cuter.

Mud Puddle Swimming

I was picking corn one wet morning and Makayla thought that it would be a good idea to go swimming in a mud puddle. She loved it till she was done and she was 'wet and dirty'. She was not ok with that. When I was taking pictures she was screaming at me because she was so mad about it.

Corn Feast

We were freezing it a while a go and I just had to post what a goof my husband is. At least it was entertaining instead of boring! And he did most of the work. How nice was that!

Our little helper. He would wheel all of our corn cobs to the compost pile for us. What a sweetie!

We could hardly keep Makayla out of the corn. She was eating it all raw! How gross. She loves it. She calls it banana's and now when I try to give her a banana she gets mad because she wants corn. Go figure I forgot to get a picture of it.

I can't help but share some of my favorite pictures of my kids. They are growing up so fast. Aiden is on his way to turning 4 and can't wait to go to school. Makayla is 1 1/2 and thinks that she is so big. She is always trying to help with babies. It seems so strange to me because I still think of her as a baby. I guess it's time for me to get over that.

Makayla's 18 Month Pics

Makayla is getting so big! I can't believe that she is 1 1/2 already. Where has the time gone? She has definatly made the transition from baby to little girl. She is adorable and full of attitude. I'm in big trouble with her as she gets older. I have a feeling she is going to be a handful.

Aiden's Pictures

My little boy is growing up. He all of a sudden made this transformation from little boy to big boy. He now gets Makayla up from her crib (not becuase I'm asking him to) takes her diaper off when she wants to go potty and even puts her in the high chair. It is funny to watch becuase she isn't that much smaller than him.

Silly Aiden is always making funny faces instead of nice smiles. Really hard to get good shots of him now. And getting one of him and Makayla-out of the question. Either she would run off or he wouldn't stand still and smile. Kinda crazy - tiz the life with 2 kids.
