New Members of Our Family

I've told Mike for over 5 years now that I would never allow him to get chickens.  A few days ago I went to Cenex and saw all the baby chicks and finally gave in.  We now have 6 chickens.  They are really cute! . . for now.  We can't wait to have farm fresh eggs in a few months.  Looks like I won't have to buy them anymore!  The kids are so excited about them and they love going out to the shed to check on them.  Aiden is so excited about going out to collect eggs and feed them once we have a coop and they are laying eggs.  I hope he stays excited about it after he starts!  I have a bad feeling I'll be doing a lot of it.  We are starting with 6 and if all goes well with them and the boys do their job taking care of them we might get a few more down the road.

Kids Updates

- Aiden -

Aiden is growing up so fast.  He is turning into such a sweet, adorable, funny, naughty boy who is full of questions and never ceases to amaze me at what he comes up with.  He just got over having strep throat as is back to is lively self.  He is always willing to help out with chores and loves working outside with his Dad.  One day he was out with Mike while he mowed the lawn.  He got out his dump truck and was being Daddy's Silage truck.  Mike would load him up with grass and he would go to the pile and dump it and come back and follow him around the yard till he had another load for him.  It was so cute!  He also is now in a big bed and is so proud of his Cowboy room.  He informed me a few months ago that he was to big for his toddler bed and before he turned 5 he needed a bigger bed.

- Makayla -

Wow, Makayla is growing and learning so much now.  She can now sing her ABC's, count to 13, sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (plus the hotdog song from Mickey Mouse of course) and she knows most of her Colors!  She is also working on potty training.  I started with her a while ago and she was doing ok but quit when we went to Cali and haven't gotten back into it.  Now she is at the bathroom all day long calling me saying "Pee Potty Mom'.  She is such a good little girl.  She amazes me at how much she is learning so fast.  She also has hit her terrible two's so she has a BIG attitude and temper.  Mike told me last week that she is to old for her crib and needed to start sleeping in a big bed too.  I was against it since she has never even attempted to climb out and why ruin a good thing?  We put her in the big bed and suprise!  She never even gets out of that either! !  It is fantastic.  She loves it and we don't have to put her back to bed 30 times a night like I expected.   She is so proud to be in her big bed and she now tells me that she is NOT A BABY.  Makes me sad but proves that it is true.

I've been really into bow making and I am having a hard time parting with lots of them.  So I've been keeping one of almost every design or color.  I love them all so much.  I can't resist keeping so many of them.

Butterflies & Dragonflies

I learned how to make butterflies and dragonflies.  They are so cute! ! !  Makayla loves wearing little bugs in her hair.
This is one of my favorites.  I just love the sparkley button, but I only have one for sale.  I don't have any more of those buttons.

Silly Girl

This is how I often find Makayla now. She will be walking around the house or sitting watching a movie. She want to grow up way to fast. (that is bunny under her shirt) She thinks she is so smart that she can have 'balls' (boobies) too. She is always making me laugh.

The Bows Are Ready!

I've been working really hard to get my bows ready to sell and I have lots that are ready now. I also just got a few bow holders ready. They are adorable. You just hang them up and clip the bows on the ribbon. A very cute way to store and display all your daughter cute hair bows. All the money made from the bows and bow holders is going to Lynden Relay For Life.

I'm selling these bow holders for $10.00
I have 2 ready right now. I can also make them in different colors.

I've also been trying to make some new different kinds of bows. These are really cute bows with extra bling.

Each package I have is going to be $5.00.

Cute baby blues.

These colors and just so bright and fun for Spring.

Bright pink bow tie bow with tails.

Cute little flower bows.

This is one of my new favorite flowers. It is so adorable. Kayla has been wearing it a lot.

This is one of my newest designs.

I love the daisys. I have some different colors and sizes. Some have the yellow center and some have a gem or button.

Pony Tail Streamers. I love these. I don't have any ready to sell yet but I've come up with some really great ideas I want to try out.

I've also figured out the korker bows. I made this one for Makayla and love it. I'm working on getting some of these made to sell too.

If anyone is interested in any let me know. You can e-mail or call me and I would love to get some to you.
