I found a bunch of pics I have forgotten about and thought I would post. 

This is Aiden on one of his last days of school.  He loved holding Parker while waiting for the bus.

 After Parker was born the kids got bunk beds.  They were so excited!

 I don't know how this came about but I walked in the room and found this.  Mike looks a little to proud.

 Last week my sister and I went to the beach to take some pics of Ryker.  The kids just love it there.

Parker-2 Months

Parker has gone from a skinny little newborn to a chunky baby in 2 short months!  Time has been going so fast for us.  This summer is flying by and we are loving every second of it.  Parker has changed our lives drastically, we are still getting used to 'baby time'.  But it is so much fun.  We are trying to savor him as much as possible while we can.  He isn't a very content baby so we do a lot of snuggling, but not while sitting or you will hear about it.  He makes up for it by taking good naps and sleeping well at night.

He is weighing in at a whopping 12lbs 15.5oz!  Pretty much 13 pounds! ! !

He is measuring 23 3/4 inches.  He grown almost 3 inches and about doubled his weight already!  Looks like we are going to have a big boy on our hands! 

 This boy is full of grins, but as soon as you take the camera out they all disappear.  He has been smiling for about 4 weeks and I still haven't been able to capture a smiling picture!  He aslo this morning started giggling!  The sweetest thing I've ever heard! 

 The kids still love helping with as much as they can.  Bath time is a favorite for everyone.

Catching Up

I'm finally catching up here!  I've been just trying to keep up the last few weeks since Parker has been born.  Thing are going really well but we've been really busy.  Here is a little sneak peak into what our summer has been like.

Here are a few pictures of Parker when he was 6 weeks old (last week).  He has been growing REALLY fast.  He has about doubled his weight now is is getting very chunky!  Just look at that double chin!  He is also very sweet and cuddly, he does like to cry a lot in the evenings though but he makes  up for it by going to bed around 8:30 and sleeps through the night!  He has been for about 2 weeks now.  It has been wonderful.  We wouldn't trade this little guy for anything.  The kids still just love him like crazy and are always helping out.  Aiden can calm him down pretty well and he loves to hear Kayla talk to him.  

Stacy and I made a trip to the Children's Museum and Chuck-E-Cheese.  The kids all had so much fun.  It was great, the kids played for hours while Stacy and I just sat and watched. 

 Aiden was able to do a Church Day Camp again this year and had a great time.  On the last day he got his face painted and was so proud of it. 

Makayla got to have a girl day one day while Aiden was at camp.  Her friends Kestyn and Hawley came over.  They made play dough and played a lot of dolls and horses.  They were so fun to watch.  We don't get a lot of girl time here.

Summer is going by way to fast for us.  Before long school is going to start and I'm going to be loosing 2 of my kids!  Kayla is starting Pre-K this year.  It is going to be really weird without her around especially with Aiden in full time 1st grade! 

Parker's 1 Week Pictures

Ashley was able to take Parker's pictures at 1 week old.  Trying to keep a newborn sleeping in awkward positions is not as easy as it seems!  But, with a lot of patience we were able to accomplish most of what we were going for.  I love how they all turned out and we even got a few shots with all the kids! 

Parker is still a pretty easy going baby, he sleeps a lot and loves to snuggle.  He's starting to get fussy at night, I'm hoping it goes away quickly and we don't have a colicky baby.  He also has claimed my bed, I've never let my babies sleep in bed with me much but he does not want to be set down at night and if I take him to bed with me he'll sleep from 10:00-4:00 then till 6:00 or 7:00, so it has been hard to turn down good sleep for sleeping alone. . . . We will be working on this problem very soon.  The kids still love him like crazy, Aiden loves holding him every chance he gets, Kayla prefers to help with baths, dressing, diapers and kisses him more than you can imagine.

We had the sweetest nurse.   After the kids came in she asked them to help her with a bath.  She got them chairs to stand on gave them washclothes and taught them what to do.  The kids were so excited to be able to be so involved.  They are so in love with him and love helping.

So far this little boy has been very sweet.  He is very content and sleepy.  He likes to be held all night though, I think we are going to have some work to do in the future on that one, but for now, we are just enjoying all the snuggles.  We know time goes way to fast and we'll never get this time with him back.
